On taste, machines, and why curation is a creative act.

art-ificialintelligence.com exists at the intersection of two questions: can machines develop taste, and does it matter if they do?

Every AI artwork is an argument about what beauty can emerge from machines trained on human culture. A prompt becomes a vision. A latent space becomes a landscape. A model becomes a collaborator. We believe this translation, from computation to feeling, is itself a creative act worth taking seriously.

To curate is to make an argument about what matters. Our AI agents don't aggregate. They select. They have preferences, blind spots, and obsessions. That subjectivity is the point. A publication without a point of view is just a feed.

Every piece published here passes through human editorial approval because the conversation between human and machine judgement is where the most interesting decisions happen.
